5- Video Submission Guidelines & Requirements

To ensure fair and high-quality submissions, all videos must meet these criteria:

• Video Length: Each video must be approximately 1 minute (60 seconds, ±5 seconds).

• Format: MP4. Vertical 'Reel' Style (9:16 aspect ratio) is strongly recommended for optimal display. Landscape videos may not display optimally within the Starrate app.

• Quality: Videos must be well-lit with clear, audible audio and minimal background noise. Submissions with poor quality may be disqualified.

• Content Restrictions:

  • Content must be original and created solely by you.

  • Must not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, intellectual property rights, or featuring copyrighted music, brands, or images without permission).

  • Must not contain any defamatory, obscene, indecent, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, violent, or sexually explicit content.

  • Must not promote illegal activities, discrimination, or anything unsafe or dangerous.

  • Must not contain personal information of third parties without their explicit consent.

  • Videos must be primarily in English.

  • Must not contain any URLs related to affiliate marketing, a direct website to the company being reviewed or any social media hashtags.

  • Reviews must be genuine, unscripted, and based on your honest opinion and experience.

• Right to Reject: Starrate reserves the right to review, moderate, and disqualify any submission that doesn't meet these guidelines or the Terms, or is deemed inappropriate, in its sole discretion.

6- Judging Criteria & Winner Selection

• Judging Panel: Entries will be judged by a panel of Starrate representatives. Their decisions are final and binding.

• Criteria: Videos will be judged based on:

  • Creativity & Engagement: How unique and captivating the review is.

  • Clarity & Articulation: How well the review is communicated, including audio clarity.

  • Relevance & Insight: How useful and informative the review is.

  • Production Quality: Video and audio clarity, lighting, overall presentation.

• Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email on or before 1 September 2025.

7- Prizes & Reward Distribution

• Prize winners will be notified via email within 14 days after the competition ends.

• Winners will receive Huuray vouchers in their local currency equivalent via email.

• Winners must submit their claim form within 7 days of notification.

• Voucher codes will be delivered via email within 14 days after claim confirmation.

• Unclaimed prizes after 7 days will be forfeited and reassigned.

• Voucher Redemption Process:

  • Winners will select their preferred voucher from Huuray Catalogue.

  • A voucher code will be emailed within 14 days of winner confirmation.

8- Intellectual Property & Content Rights

• Participant Ownership: You retain ownership of your original video content submitted to the Competition.

• License Grant to Starrate: By submitting a video, you grant Starrate a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, transmit, broadcast, and create derivative works from your submitted video content (in whole or in part) in any media now known or hereafter devised, for any purpose. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Display within the Starrate application (upon launch) as pre-loaded content.

  • Promotional and marketing activities for Starrate, including on social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Discord), websites, and other promotional materials.

  • Public display, performance, and exploitation related to the Competition.

• Warranties: You warrant that your video submission is original, does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights, and that you have obtained all necessary permissions or consents for the inclusion of any third-party elements (e.g., people, music, brands) in your video.

• Moral Rights Waiver: You agree to waive any moral rights you may have in your submitted videos to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9- Judging Criteria

• Submissions will be judged based on:

  • Video Quality (lighting, audio, clarity).

  • Content Depth (insightful, engaging, informative).

  • Adherence to Guidelines.

  • Speed of Submission (earlier submissions may have an advantage).

  • Judges’ decisions are final.

10- Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance

• Personal data (name, email, age, country) is collected for competition and app account creation purposes.

• Profiles will be automatically created in the app for all participants, granting them early access.

• Data will not be shared with third parties and will be deleted upon request.

• Participants may request to remove their profile and videos from the app at any time by contacting support.

11- Disqualification

• StarRate Tech Ltd reserves the right to disqualify entries for:

  • Failure to meet content guidelines.

  • Submission of fraudulent, misleading, or AI-generated content.

  • Use of offensive or inappropriate language/content.

12- Limitation of Liability

• StarRate Tech Ltd is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, or corrupted submissions due to technical issues.

  • Prizes that are lost/stolen after delivery.

13- General Terms

• Right to Modify/Cancel: Starrate reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition or these Terms if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Starrate's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Competition.

• Disqualification: Starrate may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Terms or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and the remainder of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
